Fuel Management/EFI Controllers: HPE carries a variety of fuel controllers, manufactured by DynoJet – and mapped to specific vehicles by SLP.
Power Commander V fuel controllers gives you the ability to use a pre-programmed SLP map or to create a custom map of your own. Some PCV models also allow ignition timing control capabilities that provide a good horsepower improvement over just controlling fuel alone. SLP has maps for most popular SLP engine configurations. However, if you choose to make a custom map for an engine configuration not supported by SLP, the PCV has the ability to be outfitted with optional tuning/monitoring accessories such as Autotune, Wideband 2 and the POD-300 display.
Some Power Commanders have ignition timing manipulation capability. They allow you to program the amount of advance or retard you desire in the area of the map you need it without affecting other areas.
