The Sta-Dri water cell is a bag constructed of a sturdy rip stop nylon and is filled with a "water specific" superabsorbant polymer, especially formulated to absorb water from gasoline. Each water cell is encased in a protective plastic tube. The water cell is lowered into fuel tanks by a retrieval cord supplied with each unit. The retrieval cord is then attached on or around the fuel cap so the water cell can be easily removed. The Sta-Dri water cell absorbs the water that collects on the bottom of fuel tanks, saving the user down time and money by preventing water related problems.
