Offset keys allow the timing to be advanced on enginesEngines have fixed stator plates, so an offset key allows the tuner to compensate for conservative factory timing specs. Great for high altitude applications to boost powerGood results with stock engines (up to 2 hp on some engines) and better yet with pipesAdvanced timing creates more heat, which increases power output, but requires good quality fuel (recommended 91 octane minumum)Remember, more advanced timing may require some jetting changes.Not recommended for EFI engines.
